Release Notes: 2007/01/23
Kagiso Treasury is very pleased to announce that we can now offer
straight-through-processing of foreign payments via TLP.
While TLP records the known commitments and receipts and the resultant
financial transactions relating to these known commitments and
receipts, it has up to now, not been able to facilitate the
straight-through-processing of foreign payments directly with the bank.
In order to aid the straight-through-processing of foreign payment
instructions, KTS and FNB International Banking (FNBIB) have developed
a secure foreign payments interface known as TLP-SWIFT Payments.
TLP-SWIFT Payments allows companies to create, authorise and release
their foreign payments directly from TLP without having to re-capture
the payment information into another system or manually fill out forms
which are then sent to the bank. TLP interfaces directly to FNBIB's
foreign payments environment thereby providing clients with secure
straight-though-processing of foreign payments.
In addition to the release of TLP-SWIFT Payments a number of other
upgrades have been made to TLP.
The look of the site and the layout been upgraded to facilitate the
functioning of the overall site and the additional payment
functionality that is now available.
Access to TLP's functionality has been made easier; the navigation menu
on the left hand side of the page now displays throughout the session.
As a result of the menu being open throughout the session some of the
function buttons that were on the various screens have been removed.
Kindly refer to the Menu Navigation section of the "Help" menu for
assistance
Supporting the release of TLP-SWIFT Payments is a new reporting tool;
Report 4.X which allows users more flexibility in extracting foreign
payment and proceed reports from TLP. Report 4.X can be found under the
"Payments" and "Proceeds" menu items. We welcome any comments or
suggestions regarding Report 4.X. Kindly refer to Section 11 of the
"Help" menu for assistance on Report 4.X.
Status and Process updates are now also displayed during the various
stages of the payment/proceed process, more information can be found in
the Help menu in the following sections 5.7, 6.10,7.10 and 8.7.
